Hydrotropism :

Hydrotropism is the Tropic movement of plant parts in response to stimuli of water.

Roots are positively hydrotropism and shoots are negatively hydrotropism.

Geotropism :

The movement of plant parts in response to stimuli of gravity is called Geotropism.

Roots are positively Geotropism and shoots are negatively Geotropism.

Note :

In case of distinction between positive geotropism and hydrotropism of roots , they are more attracted towards water than gravity . So ,in case roots need to absorb water which is not located towards the gravity, they will bent towards the water rather than growing downwards.
