Explain the image formation for all position of object in case of concave and convex mirror

The image formed in a convex mirror is always virtual and erect, whatever be the position of the object. ... Real images can be formed by concave mirrors and converging lenses, only if the object is placed further away from the mirror or lens than the focal point, and this real image will be inverted.
