CAUSES OF FRENCH REVOLUTION
As the French society was divided on 3 Estates and the 3rd Estate wanted Liberation and equality ( first and second estates were privileged ).
Louis XVI decided to impose more taxes on the 3rd Estate to maintain the expenses of the state. He didn't accepted the proposal of the 3rd Estate.
Subsistence crisis also played a very important role in the French Revolution. It was difficult for the people to arrange for their daily needs thus they hoarded on streets.
