The impact of the forest laws; -

  1. It stopped shifting agriculture, collection of forest products, hunting...
  2. Some villages that lived in the reserved forests were forced to cut trees, transport good free for the British.
  3. People of some villages were displaced away without any notice and compensation.
  4. They were also forced to pay high rents and do negative for the British.
  5. During 1899-1900,they were terribly hit by famines.
