Explanation:

The Revolution led to the establishment of a democratic government for the first time in Europe. Feudalism as an institution was buried by the Revolution, and the Church and the clergy were brought under State control. It led to the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte as the Emperor of France.

The impact of the French Revolution didn’t impact other European countries very much, when it happened. But once Napoleon Bonaparte started to export the ideas behind the revolution with the so-called Napoleonic wars, there was great impact. You’d have to understand that the French Revolution was a “liberal” revolution, not a “social” revolution. The opposing rivals were the landowning nobility and the bourgeoisie, who made their money through commerce. The nobility lost power & political influence, while the bourgeoisie gained power & political influence as a result of the French Revolution - but it didn’t happen overnight, it happened gradually in the decades following the French Revolution.
