India has maintained a long historical ties with other contries in the world.this can be described from the following points

1.The ancient land route including the famous silk route passed through india.

2.The ideas of ramayana ,panchchatantra were known to all in the earlier times.Indian numerical and decimal system also crossed the border.the arabs took these ideas in west.indian silk ,spices,and other merchandise were taken from india to other countries.

3 The greeks enriched there cultures by their architecture ,art etc
