1) Natural calamities like flood can destroy the crops and eventually the crop yield will lower.
2) Heavy rain and hailstorms can destroy the flowers which will then cause less fruits.
3) Earthquakes destroy many storage places in which the food is stored. This leads to the destruction of the stored food.
4) drought can kill the trees and crops which yield fruits and food. This also lowers the total crop yield.
5) soil erosion due to wind or water lowers the fertility of soil as it carries away the top soil or humus which has the maximum fertility. This again effects the crop yield and quality of crops.
