Various laws for forest were formulated by colonial rulers over colonial people. Although the laws were proved to be constructive but still it added in the misery of colonial people. Colonial rulers took control over the forests. The colonial people didn't have the access to forest region. access to the forest region. They couldn't own land in this region. The rulers started using timber for various purposes. They divided the forests. People were forced to leave the forest area.

1.the colonial people were not allowed to use forest products which they saw as their own property
2.anybody found inside forest would be arrested without any trial
