Insulator is the material which is used to stop the flow of heat or electricity when a high power of source is emitting it. This is made up of mostly rubber or plastic. In general the main importance of an insulator is to stop the flow of any type of radiations and to save our lives. The most efficient insulators are made up of silicon and thick plastic. Thus it is the main importance of insulator.
