Nervous System consists of the brain, spinal cord, motor nerves, sensory nerves and mixed nerves. The main role of the system is to relay electrical signals through the body. The sensory nerves carry messages from tissues to the brain. After proper analysis the brain sends message to the tissues through motor nerves. The mixed nerves perform both the functions.
