If photosynthesis ceased, there would soon be little food or other organic matter on Earth, most organisms would disappear, and Earth’s atmosphere would eventually become nearly devoid of gaseous oxygen.

As the plants are not able to move from their place they have to make their own food to stay alive so they prepare food by process called photosynthesis. This process involves intake of co2 from atmosphere through the tiny pores known as stomata it is the place for the exchange of gases(o2 and co2). they take water from soil through their roots and with the help of sunlight they make their food. so as we know food is necessary for each and every living organism to survive so plants have a process through which they can make their food without hunting or moving and without this plant will not be able to survive and the human being who are so called superior will also not able to survive.
