Soil conservation is a Praiseworthy effort made by man to prevent soil
erosion in order to retain the soil fertility.
It may not be possible to stop solution erosion completely, but much can be done to reduce the rate of soil erosion.
some of the methods of soil conservation are :
(1) Afforestation
(2) Mulching
(3) Control over grazing
(4) Rotation of crops
(5) Contour Barriers
(6) Contour ploughing
