Himalayas are the main origin of many important rivers of India like Ganga because of these rivers many places are made to be used for crop production near the rivers as the soil near them is very fertile. rivers carry a lot of moisture that is spread in the air and which leads to more humid climate which make the weather cold and it is also the reason of rain as moisture collects in the cloud which leads to rain.
Indian Ocean contain a lot of moisture which is formed inside the clouds above the ocean and with the flow of wind the clouds come to the southern part of India which leads to rain and better climate and better crop production...
