Fossils provide direct nd most reliable evidences for evolution.Sometimes ,whwn an organism die its body or part of body may be in an enviroment tht does not let it decompose completely.All such preseved partsof living organisms from remote past helps in evolution. A regular gradation from simple to complex is noted in the fossils of animals found in the rocks of successive eras which show tht evolution occured.
