Explain the Indus/Punjab plains, the Ganga plains and the Brahmputra plains

Punjab plains :- The Punjab plains is an alluvial plain in in Pakistan and the north west of India the plain includes the Pakistani province of Punjab and Indian states of Punjab and Haryana and is around 35,000 square Miles 91,000 km square the area the plain in extensively farmed for cereals and cotton. The plain the plain is the western part of the northern plain in Pakistan formed by the Indus river and its tributaries.

Ganga plains :- Ganga plain extents from Ghaggar to Teesta rivers. It is a part of northern plains .It is spread over the states of Delhi,UP,west Bengal, Haryana,Bihar and partly Jharkhand .They are very fertile and agriculturaly productive land covered with alluvial soil.Major crops grown here is rice,sugarcane,maize,wheat etc

Thick mangrove and evergreen forests grows in deltas of Ganga .It is thickly populated area.

Brahmputra plains :- It was first occupied by Aryans .People there speak of Sanskrit and Hindi and some other lang-Bengali, bihari,assamese etc. they are hindu(Brahmins) The basin is surrounded by villages. their main occupation is Fishing ,honey. The prominent animal found there is the bengali tiger. The Brahmaputra river emerges near Tibet and covers only 2500 km in india(north) and ends in Bangladesh. ganga is considerd as the holy river of hindus. but it is now polluted by industrialisation and people bath in it and also throw deadbodies in it.
