Explain the influence of Himalayas on india's climate

Due to the presence of high mountain ranges such as Himalayas, the cold winds from central Asia is blocked. Thus India remains warm.Hope this helps you. Please make this a brainlist answer

Himalayas, known as young folded mountains, influence the winds flowing through India from all directions. Himalayas stops South western monsoon winds from moving further north and thereby resulting in retreating monsoons. Also, the cold winds from the north pole, would also get controlled due to the presence of Himalayas. Otherwise, we would be experiencing Tundra climate or temperate climate like Russia and China.
