The kidneys are two bean-shaped organs in the renal system. They help the body pass waste as urine. They also help filter blood before sending it back to the heart.

The kidneys perform many crucial functions, including:

maintaining overall fluid balance

regulating and filtering minerals from blood

filtering waste materials from food, medications, and toxic substances

creating hormones that help produce red blood cells, promote bone health, and regulate blood pressure.

Ok mate not using google just answer can be lengthy and i ll make sure to avail you the answer ASAP

Explanation:

KIDNEY-INNER FUNCTION

Kidney is one of the main organ in the whole excretory system. It receives the blood to be absorbed and make it free from the nitrogenous wastes.

Some of the basic function of kidneys are:

#) helps in maintaining body ph

#) helps in homeostasis

#) helps in removal of nitrogenous wastes like uric acid, urea, or ammonia etc.

The internal of kidney consist of many parts which help in a sense cleaning of blood

Lets discuss in steps:

1)ultra filtration of blood takes place inside the glomerulus under high pressure forcing the blood into the bowman's capsule. Glomerulus and bowmans capsule consist of thick semi permeable membrane hence called ulta filters. As this process takes place in high pressure its called ultra filtration

2) then the blood passing thru the tubules are selectively reabsorbed. Here substance like amino acids or proteins or glucose are absorbed

3)the blood then is actively secreted with ions like K+ or NH3 or medicines etc. This process is called tubular secretion

4) now the blood passes from the loop of henle to the collecting duct where reabsorption of water takes place

5) then the blood is made to pass to the urinary bladder via ureter

6) now the excretion is done on the urge or swelling or increase in size of the bladder

Structure of kidney

Kidney lies at the back side of the abdomen cavity with the left kidney higher than right one to maintain the cavity. This assymetry in the location of kidney is due to the positioning of liver

Kidney is a reddish brown and bean shaped in structure with a inward part in the centre called. Hilum

Kidney inside consist of:

Nephrons the functional and structural part of kidney. These are the filtration units present in quantity of thousand inside the kidney. Nephrons consists of :

#Glomerulus surrounded by cup shaped bowmans capsule

#from the capsule to the tubular henle Loop

#from where it leads to the collecting tube

AM NOT MENTIONING THE OUTER CONNECTION OF KIDNEY AS ITS NOT. MENTIONED

I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU
