Mahatma Gandhi was a freedom fighter. He fought for the India's Independence. His fought in his way was has peaceful and non violent movements. Gandhiji lead 6 major movements. First was champaran movement in 1917. Second was kheda movement in 1918.
Third was khilafat movement in 1919. Fourth was "non cooperation movement" in 1920. He led quit India movement in 1942. He led also "dandi march" and gandhi- irwin pact. These are all history of gandhiji's freedom fight.
