the irony in the poem is that it shows the arrogance, haughtiness, contempt and cruelty of ozymandias.But what is the result? The broken statue and the vast ness of the sandssymbolise the uselessness if these emotions

the king was very proud of his achievements . he called himself as the king of the king. he got huge statue built for himself but ironically no one of his achievements is left now even his statye lie in the ruims . all his power and glory have miced in dust
