They where slow starters post war 40s 50s.60s,. it wasn't until the 80s when India won the world cup ,things started to get better,, Pakistan were the best Sub Cont team, and shot up to be world number one in the 90s, But after 2000s war in Pakistan effected the the cricket,,,.. India has slow risen above Pakistan to date,. and is now number one team in the world ,..but that will change soon, Indian cricket is still a work in progress
