Judicial structure for consumer disputes is:

a.  There is a three-tier quasi judicial machinery at the district, state and national levels for redressal of consumer disputes.
b. The district level court deals with the cases involving claims upto Rs 20 lakhs. District forum is headed by a district judge.
c. The state level courts between Rs 20 lakhs and Rs 1 crore and is headed by sitting or retired high court judge.
d. National level courts deals with cases involving claims exceeding Rs 1 crore. It is headed by a sitting or retired Judge of the Supreme Court of India
e. Cases from the district court can go as an appeal to the state level and  from state to national level courts
