The key difference between two democrats, Andrew Jackson and James k Polk on the issue of territorial expansion was that;

Andrew Jackson didn’t favor Tex annexation due to increase in slave states, but Polk supported it and encourage other expansions as well.

James K Polk said many things in terms of territorial expansion shows the world power as the poised Pacific coast.

He actually supported the whole system of expansion and encourages the slave system in the state work on the basis of tex annexation.

Whereas Andrew Jackson was not in support to the tex annexation but he wanted to end the slavery system.
