Federalism actually means division of powers between state and the union .
It’s taken from US constitution where there’s dual citizenship and state and union shares somewhat equal powers.
Now , in India , there’s no dual citizenship. Also the federalism in India is tilted towards the union.
So India is not a federal country but actually a Quasi-federal country.
