Answer: the growing indignation against the British rule lead to the launching of the khilafat and non cooperation movement. Turkey had fought against British in the first world war..... therefore the movement over the question of the injustice done to Turkey what is called the khilafat movement it gave a call of non cooperation.. hope this answer was helpful to you

Khilafat non cooperation movement was a movement led by Saukat Ali and Mohammed Ali to restore the caliph of ottoman caliphate. It was a protest against the sanctions placed on the ottoman empire after the First World War by the treaty of sevres.
