The law of constant proportion states that two elements will combine only in their fixed proportion. ex - NH3
1 Atom of Nitrogen always combined with 3 atoms of hydrogen.

According to the law of constant proportion a pure chemical compound will always contain same element combined together in same fixed ratios.
Thus in amonia (NH3) one nitrogen will cobine with 3 hydrogen in ratio 14:3 by mass
