Reflection of light:- The bouncing back of light after striking a opaque object is known as the reflection of light.

Laws of reflection are as follows:

  • When a ray of light falls on a plane smooth surface, if is reflected in the same medium in such a way that the angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection.
  • The incident ray, the reflected ray and the normal always lie in the same plane.

For more clarity of the concept, I am attaching an attatchment with my answer.

HAVE A NICE DAY!
