With respect to bills - When a bill other than money bill is sent to the Governor for his approval, then he gives his consent to the bill, with his consent to the bill, returns the bill for the reconsideration of houses, but if the bill is again passed by the state legislature with or without modifications, he must give his consent or reserve the bill for the consideration of the President.

With respect to legislature - He has the authority to call, prorogue the state legislature, and can also dissolve the legislative assembly if it loses confidence (Article 176).

• Money bill may only be introduced on his previous recommendation in the state legislature

• No grant request may be made except on his recommendation
