the female frog lays its eggs for a male frog to fertilize it. the egg then becomes a larva or tadpole. the tadpole begins to grow limbs. then, the front and hind limbs form. later, the tail is lost. finally, the tadpole becomes an adult frog and the cycle repeats again.
