explain the line '
Into the black hole, the earth-lipped fissure in the wall front, At which in the intense still noon, I started with fascination'
from the poem The Snake by DH Lawrence​

The above line means that the snake has come from the deep below the earth where there is extremely high temperature.

The snake came from a crack in the wall of the water trough to drink water that's the reason of poets fascination.
