explain the magnetic property of the iron with example

iron shows its magnetic property only when a magnet is bought closer to it......this is because......the magnetic domains which're scattered inside the iron gets rearrange..... when a magnet is bought closer to it.........
iron can be magnetised........when placed inside a solenoid..........

iron is a ferromagnetic material......... which......behaves just like a magnet when magnetised......(i.e. attract or repel the other magnetic objects)
