In December 1929 under the presidency of Jawaharlal Nehru the labour congress declared the attainment of Poorna Swaraj,or complete independence. The congress also decided to launch a civil disobedience movement under the leadership of Ghandiji. He started civil disobedience movement which is known as salt March.
