The major deposition landforms are beaches, spits and bars. Deposition occurs when wave velocities slow, or when ocean currents slow due to encountering frictional forces such as the sea bed, other counter currents and vegetation.

Pediments and Pediplains, Playas, Deflation Hollows and Caves and Mushroom, Table and Pedestal Rocks are wind's erosional landforms. Various types of sand dunes like Barchans, Parabolic dunes, Seif, Longitudinal and Transverse dunes are depositional landforms of wind.
