  1. The Central highlands lies to the north of Normad Rivers.
  2. They covers the major portion of the Malik Plateau.
  3. It is wider in West and narrower in the east.
  4. The plateau further extends eastwards in chatanaghur plateau.
  5. It covers Malva Plateau,Bundelkhand,baghelkhand and chota-nagpur plateau.
  6. The rivers in this regions flows from South West to northeast which indicates the slots of this region.

  1. The decaan plateau lies to the south of northern river.
  2. It is triangular In shape.
  3. The slope Deccan plateau is from West to east.
  4. Most of the rivers flows from West to east.
  5. It extends into the north west which encompasses Meghalaya,Karbianlong plateaus and North Cocher hills.
  6. Garo,khasia and Iaintia hills are the pramient ranges, starting from West to east.
