The major religious developments during this period are seen in the Hinduism. (i) These included the worship of new deities, (ii) The construction of temples by royalty. (iii) The growing importance of Brahmanas, the priests, as dominant groups in society. Some of the religious developments during this period are the insertion of new idols in Hinduism, the arrival of bhakti and also the introduction of Islam. This included the worship of new deties, construction of temple by royality and the growing importance of Brahmin as the priest ,as dominate group in society.
