Knowledge is awareness, understanding or a familiarity of something or someone, which is acquired through education or experience by learning, discovering, or by perceiving information, skill, information etc.


Acquisition of knowledge involves complex cognitive processes like communication, perception, and reasoning.


According to hypothetical analysis, the different types of knowledge are:


1.       Communicating knowledge – includes symbolic representations, observation, imitation, verbal exchange, and audio-video recordings.


2.       Situated knowledge – knowledge specific to a particular situation.


3.       Partial knowledge – incomplete or partial knowledge regarding an information domain; includes most real problems and rational issues.


4.       Scientific knowledge – development of scientific method to make a significant contribution to the physical world.


5.       Religious knowledge – knowledge sharing regarding different religions, holy scriptures etc.
