In Sikhism the 5ks are the five items that Guru Gobind Singh ji commanded khalsas Sikhs to wear all time in 1699. They are
Kesh (uncut hair)
kangha (a wooden comb)
Kara (a iron bracelet)
Kachera( 100% cotton tieable undergarments)
Kripan (an iron dagger to defend themselves?
