Answer:A contract comes into being from the acceptance of an offer. Section 2(b) of the Act defines acceptance as follows: “When the person to whom the offer is made signifies his assent thereto, the proposal is said to be accepted .” The acceptance of the offer must be absolute and unqualified i.e. it cannot be conditional.
