Fine motor skills are achieved when children learn to use their smaller muscles, like muscles in the hands, fingers, and wrists. Children use their fine motor skills when writing, holding small items, buttoning clothing, turning pages, eating, cutting with scissors, and using computer keyboards.
Some activities are;
paste things onto paper, clap hands, touch fingers, buttoning and unbuttoned, work a zipper, build a tower of 10 blocks, complete puzzles with five or more pieces, manipulate pencils and crayons well enough to color and draw, copy a circle or cross onto a piece of paper, cut out simple shapes with safety scissors
