Malleability - Malleability is a physical property of metals that defines the ability to be hammered, pressed, or rolled into thin sheets without breaking.

Ductility - a metal substance is capable of being stretched out into a thin wire, and it does not become weaker or become brittle in the process.

Q. Why is sodium kept immersed in kerosene oil ?
Ans.- Sodium is high reactive element. If it is kept in open it can explosively react with oxygen to catch fire. Hence to prevent accidental damage sodium is immersed in kerosene oil.
