Malleability :
Metals can be hammered into thin sheets. This property of metal is called malleability and the metals showing this property are called malleable. Gold, silver, copper, aluminium etc., are malleable metals.
Ductility :
Metal can be drawn into thin wires. The ability of metals to be drawn into thin wires is called ductility. Gold is the most ductile metal. It is interesting to know that a wire of about 2 km length can be drawn from one gram of gold.
