The statement means that charge of a body can only exist as integral multiples of the charge of an electron. Transfer of charge from one body to another takes place in integral of the elementary electric charge , which is of an electron. The charge of body cannot be a fraction. Hence electric charge of a body is quantised.

Answer:

Electric charge exists as a quantized quantity. That indicates it cannot be made or eliminated, and the net quantity of electric charge in the universe exists stable and permanent.

Explanation:

The electric charge of a body exists quantized. This indicates that only an integral (1, 2, …., n) number of electrons can be transmitted from one body to the other. Charges are not transmitted infractions. Hence, a body has a complete charge just in integral multiples of electric charge.

In macroscopic or large-scale charges, the charges utilized exist massive as compared to the magnitude of electric charge. Hence, quantization of electric charge exists of no benefit on a macroscopic scale. Therefore, it exists neglected and it is considered that electric charge exists continuously.
