Answer:

SOLSTICE :-

The word solstice is derived from the Latin sol ("sun") and sistere ("to stand still").The summer solstice is the day of the year with the most hours of daylight, and the winter solstice is the day of the year with the fewest hours of daylight.

Eg.:-My best moment was waking up on the day of the summer solstice last year.

EQUINOX :-An equinox is a point in the year when daytime and nighttime are exactly the same length, 12 hours each.

Eg.:-There were a lot of tourists in town, probably for the autumn equinox, which drew people from around the world every year.
