It means that people who are hard workers keep trying to achive their goal and win! While, people who are lazy keep making excuses for not achieving their goal!

we know that win and lose are the two important things in a living game....
so, when we win we admit it that because of hard work, and dedication...
but when we lost we admit it that because of something they had lost the game... means they say that due to one particular reason they have lost the game.in this way they say excuses....
