In politics, transparency is used as ameans of holding public officials accountable and fighting corruption. When a government's meetings are open to the press and the public, its budgets may be reviewed by anyone, and its laws and decisions are open to discussion, it is seen as transparent.

Transparency means that every individual belonging to a particular democratic country has the right(RTI) to examine or instigate that whether the laws, plans, action, policies or decisions taken by the government are correct or not and whether they are beneficial to them or not.
The phrase ‘transparency in democracy’ means that, any citizen who lives in a democratic nation, has the complete right to analyze, examine, investigate or assess whether the different laws, actions regulations, public policies and decisions undertaken by the various government bodies of the country are correct or incorrect and what whether the impact of these laws and decisions would stand out to be beneficial or harmful for them.
