explain the meanings of malleable and ductile?

Malleablity is the property of metals by which they can convert into thin sheets or various shapes. So the metals which shows Malleablity known as malleable metals.
Ductility is the property of the metals by which they can convert into thin wires. So the metals which shows Ductility known as ductile metals.

A MATERIAL WHICH CAN BE TURNED INTO THIN SHEETS ON HAMMERING ,IS SAID TO BE MALLEABLE .METALS ARE MALLEABLE BECAUSE METALS CAN BE BEATEN WITH A HAMMER TO FORM THIN SHEETS.

DUCTILE--

A MATERIAL WHICH CAN BE TURNED INTO WIRES BY STRETCHING ,IS SAID TO BE DUCTILE .METALS ARE DUCTILE BECAUSE THEY CAN BE STRETCHED (OR DRAWN) TO FORM THIN WIRES.
