explain the meanings of malleable and ductile

malleable is the metal which is converted into a thin sheet.

ductile is a metal that is converted into wire.example: gold 1gram of gold can be converted into 2 km wire .

A substance which can be beaten to convert into sheets are said to be malleable.(able to be hammered or pressed into shape without breaking or cracking.)

A substance which can be drawn into wires are said to be ductile.
