the measure features of federalism are
1. two or more level of govt.- federalism is system of govt. in which the government powers is divided between a central authority and its various constituents units. usually,a federation has two level of govt. one is the government for the entire country and the other govt. at the state or provincial level.
2. same citizens separate jurisdiction- different tiers of the govt.govern the same citizens , but each their has its own jurisdiction in specific matter of legislation,taxation and administration.
3. superiority of constitution - the jurisdiction of the respective level or tried of the govt. are specified in the constitution .so the existence and authority of each tier of the govt. are constitutionally.
4. rigid constitution - the fundamental provisions of the constitution can't be unilaterally changed by one level of the govt. such changes require the consent of the both the level of the government.
5. supreme authority of the court - courts have the power to interpret the constitution and the powers of different levels of the government. we the higher court act as an impure in case of the of the govt. in the excercise of their respective powers.
6. dual objectives - the federal system, this has clual objectives to safeguard and promote the unity of the country,w jile at the same time , to accomodate the regional diversity.
