The soap consists of fatty acids, which has two parts: Hydrophobic end and Hydrophilic end.

The Hydrophobic end fears from water whereas the Hydrophilic end loves water.

When soap comes in contact with water, it's Hydrophilic end makes bond with water, whereas the Hydrophilic end makes bond with dirt and Grease. This bond forms Miscelle.

When, any external force like rubbing is applied, the Hydrophobic end takes away Grease and dirt with them, making the cloth clean.

Hope you understood!

Cheers:)
