HUMAN DIGESTIVE SYSTEM
1= OUR DIGESTIVE SYSTEM STARTS WITH A BUCCAL CAVITY(MOUTH).
IT HAS 3 PAIRS(6) SLIVARY GLANDS.
OUR MOUTH HAVE 32 TEETH (INCISORS,CANIONS,MORAL,PRE-MORAL)
SLIVARY GLAND SECRETS ENZYMES-
mucin,water,salt and ptylin.
NEXT IS PHARYNX-A 12CM LONG ORGAN HELP IN THE PASSAGE OF FOOD.
=NEXT IS OESOPHAHUS-25CM LONG MUSCULAR TUBE PASSES FOOD INTO STOMACH. (huh got tired)

first process:

mastication: it is where we grind the food in our mouth using our teeth .moreover ,our salivary glands produce saliva that is used to convert the food particles simpler and easy to move down further.the peristalsis movement happens where the food is pushed down into the alimentary canal.

stomach:

the stomach is a "J" shaped organ that provides many gastric juices for simplifying the food again.
some gastric juices are the HCL (hydrochloric acid) ,mucous and pepsin are secreted by the gastric glands .

the HCL provides a acidic medium for other enzymes to act.the mucous protects the inner lining of the stomach from HCl and pepsin acts with proteins to form peptons,

                 proteins
pepsin ------------------> peptons

then the simplified food moves to the small intestine which is the important site.

small intestine:

the alimenatry canal is so much coiled and forms the small intestine.here, the site of complete digestion, many secretions happen.
here the secretions from liver and pancreas is also obtained.
some enzymes like trypsin ,amylase and lipase are obtains.

The pancreas secretes the pancreatic juice that helps to digest carbohydrates, proteins and fats.
 The pancreatic juice converts,

 carbohydrates         ----> simple sugars
 glucose, proteins    ---->amino acids, and
  fats                            ----> fatty acids and glycerol.

important of all,the bile juice secreted from small intestine.

its functions include:

->it creates an alakaline medium for other live and pancreatic juices to act on.
-> there will be fat globules present on the small intestine that can be hard to break down and to digest.so bile enzyme does the work of emulsifying the fat globules.

last step:

 finally ,the digested food is taken up by finger like projections called the "villi" present in the inner walls of small intestine and given to all other parts for energy.
the undigested waste material is eliminated with the help of the anal sphinhter that pushes the waste material out.

*enzyme table and digestion diagram is given in the attachment for easy understanding.

hope it helps!!!
