photorespiration means respiration taking place in d presence of light . so in photorespiration o2 + RuBP form PGA in d following steps shown in d pic. n it occurs in chloroplasts,peroxisomes n mitochondria. it decreases d yield of d c3 plant as much energy is wasted in photorespiration.
